The Smart Money Concept indicator enables the identification of key zones of interest in the market by leveraging the SMC framework. This allows traders to consistently understand the current market phase, providing opportunities to enter trades with high potential. Additionally, the indicator displays price action patterns for market entries based on the given context.
You can access this indicator directly within the ATAS platform!
The indicator settings consist of four tabs:
Context - This tab allows you to activate and configure the core elements of a strategy based on the Smart Money Concept.
Pattern - Here, you can enable and adjust the display of potential triggers for market entry based on price movement patterns.
Graphics - In this tab, you can customize the visual aspects of the indicator (in addition to the visual settings available in the Context tab).
Info - This tab contains links to important resources from our team and provides information about the current version of the indicator.
Fractals The foundation for building the zigzag, which reflects key changes in market structure. Fractals identify local highs and lows to indicate market trends.
Change of Character (CHoCH) Identifies moments of market structure change, marking the transition between bullish and bearish trends. Helps to detect market reversals in time.
Break of Structure (BOS) Indicates a breakout of key market structure levels, signaling the continuation of the trend.
Order Block (OB) Identifies potential areas where large players (Smart Money) have opened positions, which can be used as support or resistance levels.
Fair Value Gap (FVG) Highlights price gaps that may later be filled. These can signal potential price return zones.
Sessions Emphasizes market sessions (Asian, European, and American) to analyze price activity during different time periods.
Enable SFP This setting activates the detection of Swing Failure Patterns (SFP). When enabled, the system will monitor price action for instances where a key swing high or low is breached, followed by a reversal, which can signal potential liquidity grabs and market reversals.
SFP + Confirm This setting activates the detection of Swing Failure Patterns (SFP) with additional confirmation criteria. An SFP will only be considered valid if, after the swing high (for shorts) or swing low (for longs) is breached, the following candles close:
Above the high of the candle preceding the SFP (for long setups).
Below the low of the candle preceding the SFP (for short setups).
This confirmation ensures stronger validation of the SFP by requiring the market to show decisive momentum in the anticipated direction, reducing false signals and improving trade reliability.
Enable Alert Activates alerts when an SFP pattern is detected, keeping you informed of potential trading opportunities in real time.
